How to Get Out of Your Own Way and LIVE an Inspired Life

My Rock Bottom Had Me Screaming in Pain — And It Became the Beginning of LIVING Inspired

I know your time is precious, so let me start by saying thank you.

Thank you for being here, reading these words, and trusting me with a tiny piece of your day.

You matter.

Your well-being matters.

And you are not meant to navigate this alone.

Today, I want to take you back—just for a moment—to where this journey began.

Who I Am (and Who I Became)

My name is Rachel.

I’m a Registered Nurse, Functional Nutrition Counselor, and Life Coach supporting women in midlife who feel anxious, exhausted, bloated, irritable, and disconnected from the person they used to be.

But before any of that, I was a woman in survival mode.

I spent years wrestling with anxiety, depression, shame, and self-sabotage. My nervous system was stuck on overdrive. I used food and alcohol to numb the feelings I didn’t know what to do with.

I taught health and fitness classes while feeling like I was crumbling inside.

Back then, I didn’t know this was my nervous system trying to cope.

I didn’t know my hormones were shifting.

I didn’t know stress alone could shut down digestion, energy, and emotional resilience.

I only knew that I felt broken.

The Moment Everything Cracked Open

My rock bottom was loud—quite literally.

I remember being in the hospital, laboring alone.
Between contractions, I looked around and thought,
“How did I get here?”

That moment was the wake-up call I didn’t ask for, but desperately needed.

From there, I clawed my way forward—often one breath at a time.

I woke up at 4 am to read, journal, and study anything that helped me understand why my mind and body felt like they were constantly betraying me.

Here’s what I slowly discovered:
I wasn’t the problem.
My body was doing everything it could to help me survive.

Once I stopped fighting myself, things began to change—slowly, then profoundly.

The Birth of LIVING Inspired

As my life rebuilt itself from the inside out, I fell in love with understanding:

✨ Why women feel stuck
✨ Why we repeat the same patterns
✨ Why our bodies “act up” when stress rises
✨ Why midlife feels like chaos—even when on paper life is “fine”

Back then, I didn’t know I was moving toward a calling—one rooted in the science of hormones, stress physiology, gut health, and what happens when a woman’s life gets so full she disappears from her own story.

I’ve now spent years studying functional nutrition, hormones, perimenopause physiology, digestion, nervous system regulation, and behavioral psychology.

And I’ve watched client after client walk in frustrated, overwhelmed, and exhausted—and walk out stronger, calmer, clearer, and finally… themselves again.

Why I Do This Work Today

Working in hospice changed me.

When you sit at the edge of life with families saying goodbye, you stop caring about perfect bodies, rigid routines, or doing life the “right way.”

What matters is:

Connection.
Presence.
Peace.
Moments.

And those things are nearly impossible when you’re constantly anxious, inflamed, exhausted, or beating yourself up about how you feel.

Women deserve better—especially in midlife.

The New LIVING Inspired

Today, LIVING Inspired is no longer just a philosophy.

It’s a complete, step-by-step system I use with women inside my 3-month coaching program to help them:

🌿 Understand what their symptoms are really telling them
🩺 Calm inflammation and support digestion
🧠 Regulate blood sugar and steady mood
😴 Sleep deeper and wake with energy
🌀 Soothe the nervous system so healing can happen
❤️ Reclaim joy, clarity, steadiness, and confidence

Because symptoms are signals.

And when we address the roots, things begin to shift—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

You Don’t Have to Do This Alone

No woman was meant to white-knuckle her way through perimenopause, hormone shifts, gut issues, or burnout.

If you’re tired of trying to figure it out by yourself,

if you’ve tried the supplements and googled the protocols,

if you’re overwhelmed by all the noise out there…

I created a path for you.

🌿 My Three-Month Coaching Program

This is where we walk together—step by step—to unravel the root causes of your symptoms and build a life that feels calmer, clearer, and more vibrant.

You’ll get:

✨ 1:1 support
✨ Personalized nutrition, habit, and nervous system coaching
✨ Tools to reduce stress and feel steady again
✨ Practical shifts that work in real life
✨ A partner in your healing—not a protocol to follow alone

And after the first three months, many women join my Ongoing Coaching Partnership for continued guidance with more space and steadiness.

Where to Begin

You can start small right now.

Choose one of these:

Download Mood Swings SOS
Grab The Real Reason You Still Feel Off
Or book a Clarity and Relief Call to talk about your symptoms and next steps

Whatever feels right.

Final Words from One Midlife Woman to Another

If you’re in a hard season, please hear me:

You’re not weak.
You’re not dramatic.
You’re not “just emotional.”

Your body is talking to you.
And it can heal, step by step, with the right support.

Life is lived moment by moment.
And those moments can be filled with pressure or with peace.

I’m honored to walk alongside women through the messy, beautiful middle.

Lots of love,
Rachel
